The planning and design of an efficient, practical irrigation system, that meets your needs at the agronomical, landscape and economical level, involves a series of complex and difficult decisions. The goal of our planning and design services is to guide you during this process, providing objective and professional information so that you reach your goal: A top level golf course. During the preliminary phase we gather data pertinent and specific to the project. Our service includes a field visit to obtain information about weather conditions, water source, topography, evapotranspiration, soil types, and any other element that can be relevant during the design phase. We maintain communication with personnel at the project site, or with the superintendent to take into account their preferences and needs in relation to management of the irrigation system. Once the necessary information has been compiled, we move to the design stage, working from field plans supplied by the customer, by the architect, or generated by our surveying crews. A good plan is the first tool to generate a good design and we have the experience to generate it, if necessary. This way we can generate an accurate design from the start, which also allows for accurate material takeoffs and avoids costly modifications during installation. Our designs are done by highly trained professionals in hydraulics, irrigation, and soil-water-plant relationships. The use of specialized computer software for hydraulic pipe sizing, closed loop analysis combined with Auto-CAD to obtain a top quality design. We strive to optimize sprinkler spacing, pipe sizing and pump station operation to obtain an efficient, versatile and flexible irrigation system that fits your budget, and meets the demands of the players for a high quality playing surface and a pleasant landscape.

JACH USA will source all system components directly with the vendors and will manage the logistics to consolidate all components at a single location to get them ready for shipment to point of destination. At our customer’s request we can arrange with forwarding companies for the shipment of the complete system to a previously specified port in the country of destination. We will assure that the order ships with the appropriate and complete documents for customs clearance. This level of service allows our customers to deal only with one company that will manage the consolidation, freight and transport of their, system relieving them of the hassles of coordinating all these logistics and having to deal with multiple contacts. By centralizing the responsibility for equipment supply, handling and shipment, customers only need to call one contact to receive updates about the status of their order. Our approach to QUALITY is maintained and applied rigorously during the installation phase of any project. Quality during the design and product selection phases must be complemented with the same level of quality and care during installation/construction to obtain the desired final result. We develop flow diagram and chronograms, with the use of Project Management Software, of all activities involved in the construction so costly delays and possible work interruptions are minimized. Our field personnel has the knowledge and experience to carry out the staking of each hole, from Green to Tee in a fast, efficient manner while assuring that the irrigation coverage specified in the design is maintained. Our professional management of the work allows us to accommodate changes that the architect makes “on the go”, without sacrificing work schedule nor the quality of the irrigation. Experience has taught us that changes are inevitable in any new project, and that is why our team has the capability to analyze the hydraulics according to the changes made, re-stake a hole following the new layout and adapt to maintain irrigation specs. At the end of the work our customers receives a complete project package which includes original irrigation design, installation details, As-Built plan indicating location of pipelines, sprinklers, valves, wiring, pathways, greens, bunkers, tees and fairways. During installation, the project foreman keeps workbooks detailing the work done on each hole and recording any changes so that an accurate as-built drawing can be generated after the installation is completed. A quality, accurate as-built plan is the best tool that a superintendent can have for correct Operation & Maintenance of the course and irrigation system.

Our commitment does not stop once the installation has been completed. We do a final walk-through of the golf course to verify that all system components are according to design specifications. JACH USA will also support and train course personnel in data entering and programming of the central control system to take advantage of all the features and benefits, mainly during the seeding and grow-in period to optimize water schedules and reduce pump operating costs. We will also be present during start-up to insure that the system performs according to what is required and expected by the customer, and for support in case of any inconvenient. JACH USA will deliver to the customer a project portfolio to be used as support by the superintendent when necessary.
